About

Welcome to my blog! My name is Anne Fougeron and I have had my own architectural firm for over 30 years. For the past six years, I’ve used this space to talk about my thoughts on the intersection of architecture and every day life.

Lately, this blog has had a more political skew. I have been outspoken on my thoughts of feminism, sexism and bias in architecture and I am intending on writing more and more about my own experiences.

I am of French heritage but I was born in the Netherlands. I attended Wellesley College and graduated with a B.A. in Art History. I was brought to the Bay Area (Berkeley) for graduate school in architecture and haven’t left since.

You can see my work at fougeron.com.
